Artwork for Studio Bhamor
In early 2026, Kriti from Studio Bhamor - a natural dyeing studio located in the Himalayas - reached out to me to commission two artworks for her brand. Kriti had a clear idea of what she wanted; bhamor is what the Himalayan dogwood fruit is called locally, and since her brand is named after the fruit, she wanted two artworks featuring this fruit. Kriti wanted both the artworks to show the fruit, but one in colour and the other in black and white. We had several discussions on how to approach these artworks, on the techniques and the level of detail required. Here are the final artworks.

For this ink drawing, I have used a 0.3 Sigma micron pen for delicate hatching and cross-hatching.
I painted this artwork in watercolour, followed by finishing details in coloured pencils for more texture.
And this is how Kriti is using the artworks for her beautiful products.
