Sharing Spaces with Wildlife on a University Campus
For this story, which I also wrote, the illustration brief from the photo editor was to create three illustrations of the animals and birds I commonly see around me on the university campus I reside.

I chose to illustrate the White Wagtail as representative of the many winter visitors that grace us, the Purple Swamphen for its gorgeous colors, and the Nilgai as representative of the mammals I see most often.

For these illustrations, I chose to work purely with colored pencils as I find that it's quite easy to get rich, vibrant colors with this medium when using the right paper.

For the story, I was also commissioned to draw a digital map of the campus highlighting the various hotspots where wildlife can be seen most commonly.
